The mission of the Tehama County Purchasing Department is to provide the most effective delivery of essential goods and services to Tehama County Departments.

Under the direction of the Chief Administrator (Purchasing Agent), Bill Goodwin, the Purchasing Department compiles specifications for bidding purposes; reviews and analyzes bids; makes recommendations regarding bid awards and maintains related files. The department also analyzes requirements as presented by all departments and develops product solutions and cost estimates.
